Weekend Log 3 - 4.11.2007

Good conditions with almost 20 stations received on 48mb here! Weekend highlight was the reception of Radio Texas from Serbia on 1701 kHz with only 50 Watts!! It was a test broadcast on Saturday evening for me to try.

6290 kHz - Radio Fox 48, Norway. Has been stronger sometimes before. Perhaps low power test? (O=0-2) - 08.15-

6400 kHz - WMR Scotland. (O=1-3+) - 07.05-
6416 kHz - UNID. No talking heard. Shortly on air. (O=0-2+) - 08.35-
6540 kHz - Radio Brigitte tentatively, Belgium (O=0-2) - 08.55-

1695 kHz - Radio Vihor, Pancevo, Serbia. Greetings to me in English. QSO (O=3-4) - 20.12-
1695 kHz - UNID, possibly Radio Balkan, Beograd, Serbia. QSO (O=0-1) - 20.20-

1701 kHz - Radio Texas, Vrsac, Serbia. Weak but clear signal with only 50 Watts! We made test wtih this station if he can reach Finland, and it happened!! Pan-flute music and ID's: "This is Texas Radio, Serbia". Nice surprise! (O=0-2) - 20.02- mp3
